There is a range between Minoyama and the large and populous Kanto Plain, as in the photo. The range seems to work as a barrier to keep noise level low, although it makes contacts with other JAs by ground waves difficult from this summit.

The main body of the ICOM IC-7100 with the memory card was placed on the cart as a stabilizing weight. The battery was also put on it with its LED lamp power indicator facing the operator.

簑山と関東平野の間には写真に見えるように山が連なっています。このためにノイズも抑えられているようですが、地上波で交信できるJA局は少ない場所です。
録音用SDメモリーカード入りのリグの本体とバッテリーをプルカートの重しにしました。バッテリーは、残量表示用LEDが見えるように斜めに置いています。
